Wake up. Quick shower, head underground without breakfast and continue life of crime in San Andreas. As head of a massive crime syndicate I play Carl Johnson and murder hundreds of police, civilians, thugs, and grannies.

Take a breather and out for a smoke.

Change of heart has me running errands for the local police department, fire department, as well as serving the people I was killing earlier as a bonnified taxi driver. I’ll hit up the streets rescuing injured people as an ambulance driver, then retire to my farm house or private airport where I have access to military helicopters and airplanes. Skydiving? Sure – All in my waking hours of the morning.

Tired of the hard hours put into Grand Theft Auto, I eliminate my fears in a few good rounds of Resident Evil 4.

Duties as a son has me out with the parents doing groceries – some of you may bring your buddy DS or GameBoy with you to cut time in half as you wait in the car.

After a quick lunch, its back to Grand Theft Auto. This game is crack for the soul and hard to put down. But when the time comes to retire once more, its only imminent that I boot up a next game for one of my three consoles.

Craving new blood, I head the Game Rush at the local BlockBuster where I rent Halo 2. Oh its on now. Hours and hours of carnage ensue as I tear up the streets with my only friends on Xbox live.

The shaking hands tell me I need to eat, dinner is served then my brother is served in the craziness that is Mario Tennis.

Growing Tired I contemplate the next days work and play to come, I plan on visiting EB where I will trade in my old games for new ones to feed my growing addiction.

I’m not alone, many hardcore gamers will spend endless nights locked in their rooms playing their favorite titles and visiting their friends in online games. As the technology grows with the industry, the amount of killer titles available will only grow bigger. And with the coming of the next generation of video game consoles, comes new technology and more experiences to be had. I’m honest about my fiendish habbits, but who could resist the opportunity to visit three cities learning how the crime world works, or the opportunity to lead the resistance through city 17 as Gordan Freeman in Half Life 2. Games these days are cheap, quick to boot up, and learning experiences. I often learn more in a mornings playtime than weeks of school work and homework.
